Kuri , the sloth, has set a new world record in the glitter world for a slow-moving race that lasted an incredible three weeks!

Competitors, all determined to go as slowly as possible, moved in slow motion along the 500m course to the finish. Spectators came daily to cheer on their favourites and witness history being made.

Some brought picnic baskets, others settled down with blankets on the side of the track so as not to miss any detail of the epic race. At the end, when Kuri was the last to cross the finish line, there was great cheering and a huge party!
